Preview and planned data practices

This page describes the planned calling service. The website preview does not establish that calls, verification, payments, recording, or moderation are operational. The operator, contact details, retention settings, and final privacy notice must be confirmed before launch.

Who handles your data

The proposed operator is {{COMPANY_NAME}}, at {{REG_ADDRESS}}. Privacy contact: {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}. Grievance contact: {{GRIEVANCE_EMAIL}}. These placeholders are not working contact details.

Information needed for the planned service

  • Account and phone-verification details to identify users and connect calls; age and disclaimer acceptance timestamps.
  • KYC result, verified gender eligibility, provider reference, and verification date for host and restricted-lane eligibility. The design stores neither Aadhaar numbers nor KYC document images in our application.
  • Call participants, connection and end times, outcome, rate, billing, recordings, and recording expiry for service delivery, settlement, and safety review.
  • Payment and wallet entries, host earnings, reports, host blocks and private caller tags, moderation excerpts and clips, and complaint review records.
  • Service WhatsApp messages and replies used for call summaries, blocking, reporting, and caller tags.

Recording, review, and number masking

The planned launch records every connected call after spoken notices to both participants. Every recording enters automated post-call review; authorised reviewers assess flagged excerpts and clips. This is broader than reviewing only reported calls or random samples. AI flags do not themselves impose a ban. Live audio monitoring is a later stage, not a current protection. See recording and consent.

Calls are designed to show a service number instead of the other participant's phone number. Masking does not hide numbers from the service or its telephony provider. Do not share personal contact details during a call.

Providers and access

The planned providers include Clerk for login, Didit and a licensed Aadhaar-verification vendor for verification, Vobiz for telephony, a WhatsApp Business messaging provider, and payment providers for UPI top-ups. Speech-to-text and moderation providers may process audio or transcript excerpts. Their final selection, access controls, and data handling must be confirmed before launch. Access to recordings and review records is intended to be restricted to authorised service and safety functions.

Retention and requests

The backend specification sets an initial audio retention default of 30 days and call metadata retention of at least 180 days. These are planned settings, not a statement that a legal retention obligation has been verified. Final retention periods, financial-record requirements, and any preservation for disputes or lawful requests must be disclosed before launch.

The planned process will let you request access, correction, deletion, or a review after identity verification. The deletion page explains the intended process and its current limits. This service is intended only for adults aged 18 or older.
